Our Newest Family Member

Today we welcomed a new member into our family. He/She (yet to be determined) is a "Cycas Revoluta" or more commonly called a King Sago Palm Tree. He isn't really a palm tree though, and he comes from Japan (or a farm in the States that grew him for the Home Depot down the way). We have named him Sago. Anyway, when you see the pictures you will understand why Sago had to come live with us. As a bonus, he is apparently relatively bulletproof and came with his own nice little pot to live in, plus he is poisonous to people and animals if consumed. Please kitty try a bite.
